Her name is Teresa McWalters, and she's been busyingexcelling at cross country for Stanford University. Track, too.
The articulate lass explains how her father, who is not a runner, helped turn her into an All-American: "There was definitely an athletic ethos from my dad," Teresa said. "He was a model of discipline for me as a kid. He would get up at 4:30 so he could work out before going to work at 6. Watching him helped form early habits of my own."
