The Homeschooling Revolution

November 09, 2006

Homeschool Dads Elected to Public Office

In what the Bozeman Chronicle called "one of the most closely watched races," Rep. Roger Koopman was re-elected to the Montana legislature. His opponent was a former Speaker of the House.

Steve White was elected to the Gallatin County Commission.

Also in Montana, Rick Jore easily won a state house seat and made history, since he ran as a Constitution Party candidate. This is the first time a CP member has been elected to a state lege.

In Oklahoma, Jason Murphey cruised to victory over that lawyuh. (Ungracious in loss.)

Congrats to all the winners, and to all the homeschool candidates who were bold and brave enough to run for office.
