*Spotted several (Antle, Bandow, McCarthy) nifty articles in the latest issue of The American Conservative. Will Grigg should be writing for this outfit. And here's one (sent by Doc Cobranchi) which Grigg Unleashed should blog about, since he, too, has a flair for connecting the dots between culture and war (but draws entirely different conclusions than the Senator who likes chatting with Bono about how to spend lots of your money).
*Look for Bulletin 57 which will soon be posted at the National Home Education Legal Defense site. It will deal with a constitutional amendment which promises citizens the "right to a public education of equal high quality." Equal high quality? What gibberish.
*It's true that youngsters routinely hear ugly speech from other schoolmates. But this class, taught with the blessing of the administration, amounts to duress. Konk, who passed along the link, says it's "reason number #548297234 to homeschool." Agreeth.
*Southwestern Montana continues to be the land of the politically active homeschool dads. Bozeman's Steve White, who will be one of the keynote speakers (scroll down) at the 2007 Montana State-Wide Home Educators Convention, wants to be a county commish.
