The Homeschooling Revolution

October 13, 2006

He's Got a Dog in This Fight

Homeschool dad emeritus and current incumbent, Roger Koopman, continues to makes waves in Montana politics. The Democratic governor - Brian Schweitzer - got on Roger's case for his views on creation (specifically, the age of Planet Earth).

A letter-writer, who thinks the governor's dog is more welcome at the state capitol than dissenting constitutents, defends Rep. Rog.

Jag, the pooch in question, is an active liberal.

Albert J. is an apathetic libertarian who believes God created cats, large ones and teeny ones, on the fifth day. So, I guess he wouldn't get invited to Schweitzer's or Jag's subsidized crib or on a float trip.

Update: Joe Balyeat, a state senator in the Big Sky state and a sometime homeschool dad, wants Jag's owner to apologize to Rep. Koopman.
