*This Friday, the 23rd, the Naylors of Guthrie, Ok will be hosting another one of their outdoor concerts. The guest musicians are the Burbridge Family of Southwest Missouri whose speciality is "Ozark-style mountain music." Free admission.
*The Aron family, who as far as I know don't play "New England-style hill music," sent a missive from the American Family Association which claims that the National Education Association will be giving the thumbs-up to gay marriage, via a resolution, at their upcoming annual convention. Go here.
*Gravy's bride, Biscuit, passed along a story from last week's Agape News about a Kentucky state school board's decision to prevent the time-honored (some would say Christ-honoring) "B.C." from becoming "Before the Common Era" in school curriculum.
*The wittiest man in the country is also an accomplished free-throw shooter. Happy Birthday to the Ironman. For the occasion, I composed a limerick for the hubby.
