Forbes Magazine has published a fine article called "Five Reasons to Skip College." Reason #3 offers the kind of advice you'd expect from the creme de la creme of capitalistic thought: " .. you could probably make more money if you invested your tuition." But Reason #4 sounds like it came straight out of the home education playbook.
