The Homeschooling Revolution

September 28, 2005

First Gear, Second Gear, Third Gear

The labor reformation aspect of the Homeschool Non-Discrimination Act is the only section of the proposed law that I sympathize with, but Judy Aron argues that it's not a federal concern. Scott Somerville quizzes Judy, and ... to be continued.

As previously stated, I think HONDA merits a formal debate. If nothing else, it would be an opportunity for the public (those paying attention, at least) to hear why some parents don't think it's the role of the fedgov to be involved in education and to learn more about the different flavors of homeschoolers that exist.

Yo, non-fogeys: This blog's title refers to the song by the Beach Boys.

Update: Judy has posted her response - a detailed one - to Scott's query. Chris is being a genial host allowing this conservation to continue on his blog.
