The Homeschooling Revolution

July 26, 2007

All Together Now, "It's not FREE!"

Sigh. A homeschool parent is critical of the SoBaptist's education "exit strategy."

Jeannie Babb Taylor has a thing for collectivist, la-la land thinking: " ... the church could reach children even earlier by offering free daycare to the community's children. With free Christian daycare available to all, the majority of area children would learn to pray before they learned to ride a bicycle. They would grow up believing in God. They would be far more likely to attend church and identify with Christ as adults."

Given that this incident occurred in Oklahoma, it's highly likely that the caretakers in question were church-going types. The kind Jeannie has in mind, perhaps?

Two items of interest: Voddie Baucham delivers a "whoa" anti-g-school soundbite, as did the late Jerry Falwell.

Update: The "bless the child" and knock-em-out daycare worker. Go here.
