Mr. Obama Isn't Remotely Interested in Localizing Education
With soothing words, the charismatic Barack tries to convince the voters that he's a maverick: "... the debate in Washington has been narrowed: either we need to pour more money into the system, or we need to reform it with more tests and standards. As a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, Senator Obama has introduced bills that cut through this false choice and recognize that good schools will require both structural reform and resources.
But he turns out to be another piffle-peddling DeeCee socialist who is eager to 1) throw more money to the beast, 2) offer more opportunities to warehouse children, and 3) expand the role of fedgov in edgov.
