Mush On: Giving New Meaning to the Term "Away Game"
Taking advantage of those wonderful low air fares and because life's too short not to occasionally be spontaneous, the Ironman and I are leaving for Anchorage, Alaska, today, to go watch Wid III, and his team, play the University of Alaska/Anchorage.
Last night, the fellas played the University of Alaska/Fairbanks. (Lyman offspring scored 16 points!!)
Wid's school was invited (all-expenses paid!) to a series of exhibition games in the Last Frontier, where the underdogs (us) will be trounced by Seawolves and Nanoonks. :>)
We're staying a couple of extra days after the team leaves, so, hopefully, we'll see more than the inside of a gym.
