"If Jason Murphey wins election, a local crisis pregnancy center will be the recipient of a $20,000 donation.
Murphey explains that at $38,000 a year, Oklahoma has the highest part-time paid legislature in the nation. The average Oklahoman only makes $28,000 per year. Murphey will introduce legislation that requires legislators to make no more than the average Oklahoman.
Until that bill passes Murphey says he will set the example by donating the salary difference from each of the two years he is in office to the Crisis Pregnancy Center. The center encourages mothers to avoid abortions and provides a helping hand to both mother and child.
'With your vote, I am going to send a message to politicians and hope to save lives at the same time,' Murphey explained."
