The Homeschooling Revolution

November 20, 2006

After the Fact

Post Election of the Century* News: George Faught, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, also got elected to the lege. He won in a heavily Democratic district.

Mr. Faught, who has owned a carpet cleaning business for many years, is a homeschool dad of tres. The seat this Republican will hold was previously held by a woman who worked as a school super. and principal. Rep. Dad bought the entire family to the oath-taking ceremony. Tyler Faught, the eldest son, works for Sen. Tom Coburn as a research assistant.

Post Game of the Century* Photos: Home scholars, who are partial to the undefeated Buckeyes, pose in their Ohio State gear. Go here and here.

Post Wedding of the Century* Attire: Connor and Isabella Cruise, arguably the most famous homeschooled Scientologists, look spiffy for TomKat festivities.

New Gal on the Blog: A whole week ago, Andrea Schwartz, a veteran homeschool mom, started blogging about "lessons learned from years of homeschooling." (There's a 'post something of the century' in there, but my Creative Juices Flowing dept. head went home for the night.)
