A hearty "Good on you, Mate!" to Jason Murphey who won the run-off in Logan County, OK by 266 votes last night. It's considered a Republican seat.
The Edmond Sunstated that Jason's focus is "macro" issues. Their way of saying he's a "big picture" guy. My idea of a compliment.
Two years ago, Jason was in the run-off for the same seat, as the frontrunner. Sadly, a shady anti-Murphey campaign was launched, which, among other things, complained that Jason didn't have a college degree. (He does now!) Jason lost that run-off by 250 votes.
