Feeling Impish

You'll Never Guess Who ... A clip (click on "Witless Protection"), from Jon Stewart, reveals several surprises.

On the Flippant Side. This blog entry is about how politicians, on the left and right, believe God has chosen them for public office. (Note: Comment section is coarser than post.)

Dubai on the Plains. It's hot where I live. Too hot.

Cheesesteak speak, and Don't Free Mumia. File this one under old-school immigrant clashes with new-age immigration. (Another fantastic sandwich is the Cuban Media Noche. But I can't imagine ordering a "Midnight" in a Little Havana restaurant.)

More Cuban. Mark, that is. And he's blogging about the Miami Heat. Not the weather, that is. More like Shaq, Flash, and the gang.

Germany v. Costa Rica. The World Cup kicks off today. Go, Los Ticos! Go, Dirk! Ok, so the 7-footer isn't a soccer player, but he fits this category.

The Almighty Scores 32 Points. At the end of Game 1 of the NBA finals, Jason "Jet" Terry said, "All the glory goes to God." Well, that's better than claiming God had told him that the Mavs would win the championship in 6.
