Well, the country didn't come to a screeching halt, did it? I staged a girlcott to the boycott by supporting a woman-owned small business that doesn't hire illegals. This home educator urged others to eat out. But this man - a military vet - quit his job because ... well, you'll have to read it. Unbelievable.
Update: Chris Dortignac sent this photo. It was taken, yesterday, in Industry, California, on the Pomona Freeway, at around 6:30 p.m. Rush hour. Apparently, a day without an illegal going to work and avoiding La Migra, equals gloriously empty freeways. Writes Chris, "It is rare that it looks like this! It is sometimes referred to as the 'Slow-mona.' "
