Cobwebs Behind the Wardrobe

COD's blog links to an LA Times op ed about conservative 'Wardrobe' critics. Gushing or nitpicking over Fantasy's Big Three - Aslan, Potter, and Baggins - is one peculiar cottage industry and/or hobby. How about expending some of that lit. crit. energy into hiking a canyon or doing algebra problems or volunteering in a soup kitchen or memorizing Scripture, instead?

After viewing Chronicles of Narnia, I've decided Screenit.com's review is fair and to the point. Four additions: Mr. Tumnus deserved more face time, the lass that played "Susan" must have wandered in from the set of The Bad Seed (attitude!), the movie deserved a "7.5," and the battle scenes are thankfully bland.
