Color Me Dark Blue

Dr. John Diggs, homeschool dad, tells me that Bush's % in MA went from 32% in 2000 to 37% in 2004. (In part, because more of the general population voted.) But it ain't a pretty picture for Mr. Mitt Romney:

"STATE HOUSE, BOSTON, NOV. 3, 2004 …Democratic legislative candidates on Tuesday shredded whatever coattails Republican Gov. Mitt Romney had left from his own election two years ago.

Incumbent Democratic House and Senate members added to their overwhelming majorities during Tuesday’s elections, picking up one seat in the 40-member Senate and two in the 160-member House. In doing so, they convincingly turned back the 'team reform' slate of Republican candidates fielded and financed by Romney and the Republicans in the largest concerted effort to make GOP gains in 14 years."
