My response to the Acrimonious Beacon Journal homeschooling series would be: Get Lost. This is the temperate HSLDA one.
For several decades now, dedicated home educators have overcome lousy laws, zealous educrats, busybody social service workers, and even prison sentences. In the scheme of things, the series will amount to diddly-squat even if these reporters get nominated for a Pulitzer or any other worthless prize.
