The Homeschooling Revolution

October 27, 2004

The Lord is Their Daddy?

What is wrong with the Cards? C'mon guys.

On the other hand, the curse appears about to be reversed.

Anyone else notice how often the Red Sox players mentioned God? Pedro Martinez (in photo), who gets my vote for MVP of last night's game, pointed to the heavens and thanked God. Manny Ramirez, Pedro's bud, pointed upwards, also. Bill Mueller, who grew up in St. Louis, graciously thanked God for his athletic ability.

Let's hope the players use their clout - and offer a prayer or two - to encourage Bay Staters to stay tranquilo if they win the crown tonight. The fans get real carried away in Boston and in a certain college town.
