Like a Groupie. Once, during a trip to London, I dragged my mum to 10 Downing Street, and we were rewarded with a great sight. The Iron Lady - Margaret Thatcher - emerged from the historic building with King Hussein of Jordan. I eagerly snapped photos like an obnoxious member of the paparazzi. Years later, I would hear Lady Thatcher speak in Springfield, MA and write a column about all the angry protestors that came to say "Cheerio."
These memories were sparked by reading Dave Black's entry about the excellent Mrs. Thatcher.
