A former Miss Keystone Heights High School (Florida) is now a reigning homeschooling mom.
From the Bradford County Telegraph: "Kim Fox Hightower reigned in 1979. After graduation, Hightower said she lived all over the country but recently moved back to Keystone. For the past 17 years, she and her family operated the Lamp of Jesus Ministries, a nonprofit, substance abuse and vocational rehabilitation organization.
Hightower now serves her community as a healthcare professional at Melrose Pharmacy. In 1979 at the Miss KHHS pageant, Hightower said her aspiration was to become an English teacher. She now has the opportunity to fulfill her dream while homeschooling her three children."
